Condition and Straighten at the Same Time
Everyone knows how awesome flat irons are when it comes to giving you smooth, straight hair. I use my Farouk flat iron on a daily basis to tame my frizz and give myself the cool, edgy style that I love. But sometimes flat irons (and, for that matter, all heat styling tools) get a bad rep because the high temperatures can damage hair by sucking the moisture right out of your strands. Then I started hearing about these new flat irons that are designed to condition your hair while you straighten. They supposedly work because the plates are infused with conditioning oils. Do these flat irons really work? I can’t vouch for that, but I will say that my Farouk flat iron does any excellent job of leaving my hair shiny and healthy-looking. Ceramic plates (instead of metal) are the key. While metal plates can cook your hair, ceramic glides gently over your tresses, sealing the cuticle and adding extra shine and softness. My hair is actually in better condition now than it was before I bought my flat iron! I would recommend Chi flat irons to anyone looking for a way to straighten their hair without damaging it. They’re easy to use too! You can get professional results on your own, without going to a salon.
